About Me
Career
I’ve been navigating the intersection of technology and business since long before "AI" became a household buzzword. Since 2014, I’ve led AI, analytics, and machine learning initiatives at Vodafone, evolving from traditional predictive modeling to the complex generative systems of today. My goal has always been the same: to be a trusted advisor who translates messy data into clear, strategic business wins.
Before diving deep into data, I spent six years in management consultancy, helping pharmaceutical companies find their competitive edge in strategy and commercial effectiveness. This blend of technical grit and consulting experience allows me to look at problems through two essential lenses: Can we build it? and Should we build it?
The Foundation
- BS in Mechatronics (Sabanci University): I was trained to design robots, and while I now build with code rather than hardware, that "builder" mindset remains my foundation.
- MBA in Engineering & Technology Management (Bogazici University): Focused on the mechanics of scaling innovation and managing tech-driven change.
Beyond the Screen
I am Turkish-born and currently live in London. I’ve developed the very specific superpower of enjoying the British spring even more than a sweltering summer. When I’m not deep-diving into my latest curiosity, I’m an avid non-fiction reader and a "deep-research" enthusiast, I’m spending time with my wife, Zeynep, and our daughter, Nil.
I’m always interested in personal productivity, data visualization, and the latest tech gadgets that actually make life better.
